Maruthi, who had recently unveiled the first look poster of his upcoming director The Raja Deluxe has now announced that he and producer SKN will be presenting True Lover, the Telugu dubbed version of the upcoming Tamil romantic drama Lover. True Lover stars Manikandan (Jai Bhim, Good Night), Gouri Priya (Writer Padmabhushan, MAD) and Kanna Ravi (Mandela, Saani Kaayidham) in lead roles. 

rue Lover revolves around how a couple's life unravels when their relationship nosedives. The film is directed by Prabhuram Vyas, who has previously directed the web series Livin'. While Lover will be hitting theatres on Valentine's Day, the release date of True Lover will be announced soon.

Lover also stars Saravanan, Geetha Kailasam, Harish Kumar, Nikhila Shankar, Rini, Pintu Pandu and Arunachaleswaran, among others. The film is produced by Nazerath Pasilian, Magesh Raj Pasilian and Yuvaraj Ganesan under the banners Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment.  The film's Telugu dialogues are penned by Mouli, while Sean Roldan has composed the music. Shreyas Krishna is the cinematographer of the film, with editing by Bharat Vikraman and production design by Raj Kamal.
