Kannada actor Deekshith Shetty, who had made inroads into the Telugu film industry with Srikanth Odela's debut directorial Dasara, will be starring next in Srikanth 's brother Shashi Odela's maiden film. This untitled film will be produced by Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas, the production banner that produced Dasara. It is the banner's eighth production, and hence shall be tentatively titled as Production No 8. Production No 8 is poised to be a film set in the 90s, with a unique storyline. The film is directed by KK and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri. 

The film is currently in pre-production and will commence shooting soon. Poornachandra Tejaswi is the music director of the film, with cinematography by Nagesh Banell, editing by Karthika Srinivas and production design by Srikanth Ramishetti. 

In addition to Production No 8, Dheekshith Shetty will also be seen next in Rahul Ravindran 's next directorial The Girlfriend, which stars Rashmika Mandanna in the titular lead role.
