On the occasion of Sankranthi, Netflix is making its Netflix Pandaga announcements with regard to the platform's slate of Telugu releases for the year. As a part of the announcements, Netflix has revealed that the post-theatrical digital rights of Vijay Deverakonda's VD12 have been bagged by the platform. 

The filming for VD12 began sometime in June last year. The film is helmed by Jersey-fame Goutham Tinnunuri. The film stars Sree Leela as the female lead. 

Produced by Sithara Entertainments, and Fortune Four Cinemas, VD12 has music composed by  Anirudh Ravichander. It may be noted that Goutham has previously collaborated with Anirudh and Sithara Entertainments for Jersey, which starred Nani and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles.

The technical team of the film comprises Girish Gangadharan as the cinematographer and Navin Nooli as the editor.
