We had previously announced about actor Anjali working in Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi, the sequel of her 2014 horror entertainer Geethanjali. The makers of the film have announced on Monday that they have wrapped principal production of the same.

The announcement reads, "Done filming, but the horror's just begun. Geetanjali Malli Vachindhi is coming soon to spook your spirits and tickle your funny bone." Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi is Anjali's 50th film. It is a direct sequel that will have the actor reprise the role she played in the 2014 film. A picture of the film's team posing from the film's shoot location, a hill station, was also shared with the announcement. Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi also features Srinivas Reddy, Satyam Rajesh, Satya, Shakalaka Shankar, Ali, Brahmaji, Ravi Shankar and Rahul Madhav, among others.

Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi is written by veteran screenwriter Kona Venkat and Bhanu Boggavarapu. The film is directed by debut filmmaker Shiva Turlapati. Kona Venkat has also  produced the film under the banner Kona Films Corporation, in association with MVV Cinemas. Pravin Lakkaraju has composed the film's music, with cinematography by Suhatha Siddhartha, editing by Chota K Prasad and production design by Narni Srinivas.
