The official teaser of Sashivadane, a romantic drama starring Rakshit Atluri (Palasa 1978, Narakasura) and Komalee Prasad (Rowdy Boys, HIT 2) was unveiled on Thursday. The film is written and directed by Saimohan Ubbana and produced by Ahiteja Bellamkonda under the banners SVS Studios Pvt Ltd and AG Film Company.

Set in the picturesque locales of East Godavari, Sasivadane is a star crossed romance set in a village. The film was shot on location in the towns of Konaseema and Amalapuram. While most of the teaser focuses on the idyllic love story of the leads, we are abruptly cut to a visual of an older Rakshit, looking sad. Sasivadane also stars Rangasthalam Mahesh, Sriman, Jabardasth Bobby, Praveen Yandamuri and Deepak Prince. 

The makers of the film plan to release Sasivadane in February. A release date hasn't been announced yet. Anudeep Dev has composed the background score of the film, with music composed by Saravana Vasudevan. Shrie SaiKumaar Daara is the film's cinematographer, with editing provided by Garry BH.
