The trailer of Saindhav, the upcoming Telugu film starring Venkatesh, was released by the makers on social media on Wednesday. It marks the actor’s 75th film and will be directed by Sailesh Kolanu. Saindhav is set to release on January 13.
The trailer opens with a father and daughter bond and all goes well until the child is diagnosed with a rare disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. With the injection vial to cure the disease costing Rs 15 crore, the father decides to revisit his old friends and opponents, thus opening a can of worms about his past.
The film also stars Arya, Shraddha Srinath, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Ruhani Sharma, Andrea Jeremiah, among others. Backed by Venkat Boyanapalli under the banner Niharika Entertainment, the music is by Santosh Narayanan. The cinematography is handled by S Manikandan and Garry BH is the editor.
