A glimpse of Devara, the upcoming Telugu film starring Junior NTR in the lead role, will be released on January 8, the makers of the film announced on social media on the occasion of New Year. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film is set to release in two parts, with the first one to be out on April 5.

Devara also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan as female lead and antagonist respectively. They will be making their Telugu debuts with Devara.

Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring the music. The technical crew also consists of cinematographer Rathnavelu, editor A Sreekar Prasad with Sabu Cyril as the production designer. Devara marks Jr NTR's reunion with the Koratala Siva after the blockbuster success of Janatha Garage. Billed as an action-heavy mass entertainer, the film is produced by the actor's brother Nandamuri Kalyan Ram under the banner of Yuvasudha Arts.
