The makers of the upcoming social satire Laapataa Ladies organised a special screening of their film for members of the film fraternity on Tuesday. Among the many who attended the screening was Telugu actor Adivi Sesh.

Taking to his X page (formerly Twitter), Adivi penned a long note praising the Kiran Rao directorial. Adivi’s post read, “#LaapataaLadies Gosh! What a sweet film. The brilliant young kids #Nitanshi #Sparsh & #Pratibha, the entire ensemble are phenomenal, and let’s not forget the magical @ravikishann what a performance. #KiranRao garu has created a lovely gem about hope. Thank you #AamirKhan sir  @AKPPL_Official for the invite and the amazing evening after the screening. Your run of producing magical films continues. Congratulations to @jiostudios on this beautiful film :) PS: The music from @RamSampathLive had me swooning.”

Bollywood personalities like Sunny Deol, Kajol, Salman Khan, and Karan Johar were also in attendance for the screening. Laapataa Ladies marks the second feature film directorial for Kiran Rao, after her 2011 debut film Dhobi Ghat. The film, featuring Ravi Kishan, Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, and Chhaya Kadam, is scheduled to release on March 1.

Meanwhile, Adivi Sesh is gearing up for two of his upcoming releases, Goodachari 2 and Dacoit, where he will be sharing the screen with actresses Banita Sandhu and Shruti Haasan, respectively.
