Producer Dil Raju, who was present at the first-look launch ceremony of the upcoming film Love Me, spoke about the impact the script left on him when he first heard it. Love Me, starring Dil Raju’s nephew Ashish Reddy and Vaishnavi Chaitanya in lead roles, is produced by Harshith Reddy, Hansitha, and Naga Mallidi under the banner of Dil Raju Productions. On the other hand, Arun Bhimavarapu directed it.

Recalling how the project kicked off, Dil Raju stated, “Naga and Arun are the reasons why this project started. Naga told me to listen to the script, then I met Arun. The moment I heard that script, I was transported back twenty years, how I got excited when I heard Arya's story. What happened to me with Arya. I'm getting vibes that the same is going to happen to all of you.”

Dil Raju also talked about how everyone onboard, from veterans to young talent, was equally excited upon hearing the Love Me script. He elaborated, “I asked PC Sreeram to listen to the script. He read the script and immediately said okay. We approached MM Keeravaani Garu, he heard the script and immediately said okay. Baby (2023) was a big hit at a time when heroines were being sought. Vaishnavi came to the office, read the script completely, and got fully excited. Rarely do we see a script excite to this extent.”

Dil Raju also shared that the film’s male lead Ashish is in Tirumala, explaining his absence at the launch event. The notable producer further announced the film’s theatrical release date, which is April 27 this year.
