Mammootty's Bramayugam gets a Telugu release

The film's Telugu version is hitting theatres on February 23

Mammootty's recent film Bramayugam, a new-age horror film, will be released in Telugu on February 23, a week after its release in Malayalam. The film, which also stars Arjun Ashokan, Siddharth Bharathan and Amalda Liz, is written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan. Rahul has previously directed Bhoothakalam (2022) and Red Rain (2013).

Bramayugam, which has opened to rave reviews and a steady theatrical run, has been produced by Chakravarthy Ramachandra and S Sashikanth under the banners Night Shift Studios and YNOT Studios. The film has been shot entirely in black and white. Shehnad Jalal is the cinematographer of the film, with editing by Shafique Mohamed Ali, production design by Jothish Shankar and sound design by Jayadevan Chakkadath. Christo Xavier composed the music for the film. 

Bramayugam's Telugu dubbed version will be distributed by Sithara Entertainments. The banner has last distributed the Telugu version of the Thalapathy Vijay-starrer Leo. Mammootty, who is fast gaining acclaim for his script selection and acting range in his career's latter innings, has recently starred in a string of critically acclaimed films like RorschachNanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam,  Kaathal - The Core, Puzhu, Bheeshma Parvam and Kannur Squad.
