Vedhika, who was last seen in the 2022 Kannada film Home Minister, recently wrapped up shooting for her upcoming film Fear. The film is produced by AR Abhi and co-produced by Sujatha Reddy under the Dattatreya Media banner.

It is to be noted that Fear was launched with a traditional Muhuratham Puja on January 14, and the team finished the shoot within a span of 5 weeks. Previously, the makers also released the first look poster of their film, which is based on true events.

Arvind Krishna plays the male protagonist in the film. Fear also stars Jayaprakash, Pavitra Lokesh, Anish Kuruvilla, Sayaji Shinde, Satya Krishna and Sahithi Dasari. Anup Rubens is the music director for the film, while Andrew Babu is the cinematographer.

Fear is directed by Haritha Gogineni who is making her directorial debut with the venture. Haritha had earlier produced the 2022 film Lucky Lakshman starring Syed Sohel Ryan and Mokksha. At the launch ceremony for Fear, Haritha said, “I have prepared the script for a year thinking about what kind of movie the audience will like. I am happy to find a good heroine like Vedika for this script. Her dedication towards the film is very encouraging and I found a good team.”

Besides Fear, Vedhika has three other films coming up - Petta Rap in which the actress stars opposite Prabhu Deva, Razakar and Gana.
