Operation Valentine makers introduce Shataf Figar's character

Shataf Figar, who has worked in films like Khufiya and Shershaah, will soon make an appearance in the Varun Tej starrer Operation Valentine as Commander-in-Chief Rajeev Bakshi. The makers of Operation Valentine posted an update about his character while sharing his look as the commander in the upcoming action film. This is Shataf’s second project in Telugu cinema; the actor had earlier worked in the Nandamuri Balakrishna-starrer Ruler (2019).

Operation Valentine also marks the Telugu debut for Manushi Chillar, who made her film debut two years ago with Akshay Kumar in Samrat Prithviraj. Meanwhile, Varun Tej was last seen in Praveen Sattaru’s espionage thriller Gandheevadhari Arjuna. Besides, Operation Valentine stars Ruhani Sharma and Mir Sarwar. It marks the directorial debut of ad filmmaker Shakti Pratap Singh Hada, who has co-written the film with Aamir Nahid Khan, Siddharth Raj Kumar, and Vaibhav Vishal.

Two weeks ago, the makers of Operation Valentine officially announced the postponement of their release. Earlier scheduled to hit theatres on February 16, the Varun Tej-Manushi Chillar starrer will now release on March 1.
