Sampoornesh Babu, who completes a decade as a lead actor in the industry this year, will soon be seen in an upcoming project titled Bangaru Guddu. The first look and title of the film were unveiled earlier today.

Bangaru Guddu is a bilingual, releasing in Tamil and Telugu. The film is jointly produced by New Normal Film Factory and Jyostar Enterprises. Bangaru Guddu marks the directorial debut of Gopinath Narayanamoorthy, who has also penned the script for the film.

Besides Sampoornesh Babu, the ensemble cast of Bangaru Guddu comprises actors like Robo Shankar, Surekha Vani, Praveen, Mohan and Nikil. Shamin Tandon has been roped in to compose music for the film. Bangaru Guddu also marks the debut of actor Surbhi Shukla in Telugu cinema.

Sampoornesh Babu, who is fondly known as the Burning Star, was last seen in the 2023 film Martin Luther King, where he played the titular role. Martin Luther King was an official adaptation of the Tamil satire film Mandela (2021), where Yogi Babu played the protagonist.

The makers of Bangaru Guddu are expected to announce the release date for their film soon.
