The Andhra Pradesh government has started a campaign called “Post no evil” and is actively taking the help of celebrities and stars of Telugu cinema to urge netizens and educate them about positivity and fake news.

Actors Adivi Sesh, Sreeleela, and Nikhil voiced their support for the initiative taken by the AP government and released video bytes urging social media users to post responsibly. Adivi Sesh said in his video, “You might not mind the consequences and post something bad under a woman’s social post. But that bad comment will disturb them. Even sharing fake news like this, mindlessly, results in many people blindly believing it. Post no evil and post responsibly on social media.” Meanwhile, Sreeleela also said, “For likes, views and shares, don’t spread false news. Take societal responsibility.”

Nikhil Siddhartha also said, “When we buy a product, we check validity and expiry date. Similarly, when we post on social media, why don’t we check the authenticity of any news. This casual attitude will spoil the lives of many. Please verify before posting anything on social media.”

On the workfront, Adivi Sesh is gearing up for Dacoit, which recently announced Mrunal Thakur as the lead. Sreeleela is currently shooting for Akhil Akkineni’s film. Nikhil Siddhartha is gearing up for Swayambhu.
