Director Srikanth Odela who recently announced a project with Chiranjeevi opened up about the film in a new interview to Hindustan Times. He said, “I grew up watching Chiranjeevi garu's films, and I can't believe I'm working with him. We finalised the script within 48 hours. It felt like I was on cloud nine."

Adding that this film will feature a new Chiranjeevi, he said, “This film will be different from his earlier ones. You won't see the vintage megastar; instead, you'll see him in a fresh, age-appropriate avatar. I'm a fan only until Chiranjeevi garu steps out of his caravan. Once he does, he becomes a character in my film.”

The untitled film was launched recently by Nani. Chiranjeevi and director Odela posted a photo with both of them in blood-drenched hands and they made an oath that the film will be a bloodbath. Srikanth Odela has proclaimed himself as an avid Chiranjeevi fan and promised to the audiences that the film will be a thrilling ride. It is said to be a period film with technicians to be roped in.

Currently, Srikanth Odela is busy in the pre-production of the upcoming Nani-starrer The Paradise. The film is billed as a violent action drama to be based in 90s Secundered with Nani’s role kept under wraps.

The Paradise is bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner of SLV Cinemas. Reports suggest that the makers have locked Anirudh Ravichander to score music for the film.
