The makers of OG took to social media and to appeal to fans of Pawan Kalyan. Recently, Pawan Kalyan who is currently serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh was delivering a speech and a mob of his fans were chanting “OG, OG” which irked the Bheemla Nayak star. He snapped at the fans and urged them to understand the context of the situation. He further asked them to “Think beyond cinema in life.” 

On Saturday, the production house, DVV Entertainments wrote, “We feel fortunate for having received the love from all of you on OG. We are working relentlessly to bring the best for you. But, you are all chanting the name OG during the public meetings of Pawan Kalyan garu. It is not right to disturb him. He is working as deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh currently and we all should respect him and his chair. Let us wait for a few more days. We believe that the 2025 OG festival will be grand.”

OG is an upcoming gangster-entertainer that stars Pawan Kalyan, Priyanka Arul Mohan and Emraan Hashmi. Helmed by director Sujeeth, of Saaho and Run Raja Run fame, the film is one of the most highly anticipated star-led projects. The film is scheduled for a 2025 release. Makers yet to confirm a release date. 

OG is said to revolve around Pawan Kalyan’s character, Ojas Gambheera, a gangster in exile who returns to Mumbai for an important mission. Makers of the film released a glimpse on the same date of Pawan Kalyan’s birthday last year titled “Hungry Cheetah” which garnered enormous praise and acclaim from general audiences and fans of the star.
