Earlier this month, we had reported that the makers of Vishwak Sen-starrer Laila confirmed February 14, 2025 as the release date for their film. Vishwak will be seen playing a colourful character named Sonu Model in the film. On Saturday, the makers released the promo for their first single.

Titled after the film’s protagonist, ‘Sonu Model’ will be out on Sunday, December 29. The promo offers a few glimpses of Vishwak Sen’s character, who wears his stylish attitude on his sleeves. By the looks of it, ‘Sonu Model’ promises to be bonafide mass number, embellished by vibrant sets and costumes and energetic choreography. The film, which stars Akanksha Sharma as the female lead, has been billed as a Leon James Musical. Tanishk Bagchi was signed as the music composer earlier, but backed out due to other commitments.

Ram Narayan is the director for Laila, while Sahu Garapati is bankrolling the project under Shine Screens banner. The cinematography and art direction are helmed by Richard Prasad and Brahma Kadali, respectively.

Vishwak Sen was last seen in the action entertainer Mechanic Rocky, which released in November.
