Gedela Raju - Kakinada Taluka, starring acclaimed musician, producer, and actor Raghu Kunche in the titular role, has officially commenced production.

Directed by debutant Chaitanya Moturi, the film is a gripping love and crime thriller inspired by real-life events near Kakinada. Raghu Kunche also presents the film, with Vani Ravikumar Moturi producing and Ravi Chinnabilli and Veerabhadra Rao Tadala co-producing.

The ensemble cast features Ramchandram Punyamanthula, Teena Sravya, Sridivya, Vikas, and Mounica, along with Ravi Chinnabilli in significant roles. Supporting actors include Srikanth Ayyangar, Mehaboob Basha, and Kittayya.

The title announcement took place in Hyderabad, and the film’s shoot is currently underway in the Kakinada region. Raghu Kunche doubles as the music composer, while Sai Kumar Dara handles cinematography. The editing is led by Sudheer Yedla, with Sekhar Kumpatla as co-director and Murthi Mallala managing public relations.
