Naveen Polishetty, who was last seen in the 2023 romantic comedy Ms Shetty Mr Polishetty, is all set to make his return to Telugu cinema with upcoming entertainer Anaganaga Oka Raju. The makers of the film released a special ‘pre-wedding video’ glimpse on Thursday.

The glimpse establishes Naveen Polishetty as Raju, a pompous yet eager young man desperate to have a lavish wedding, engaging in a phone conversation with Mukesh Ambani, discussing the many renowned guests who arrived at his son Anant’s wedding, talking about how his wedding will be equally memorable and talked about. The glimpse then introduces Meenaakshi Chaudhary as Raju’s bride-to-be, where the two can be seen awkwardly posing for their wedding photo shoot. The film, whose title is a playful homage to the popular 90s film Anaganaga Oka Roju, promises to be a wacky entertainer. 

Anaganaga Oka Raju is produced by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Maari helms the direction, and Mickey J Meyer has been signed as the music director. More details about the primary cast are yet to be announced.

It is to be noted that Naveen Polishetty was on a hiatus from movies after meeting with a bike accident in March this year. In July, the actor spoke about the incident and reassured his fans of getting back to the sets soon.
