Pushpa row: Leading TFI members to meet CM Revanth Reddy to ensure ‘healthy relationship’ 

Additionally, Allu Aravind also announced a financial aid amounting to Rs 2 crore to Sri Teja and his family

Allu Arjun’s father and eminent film producer Allu Aravind officially announced on Wednesday that he would be providing a financial aid of Rs 1.5 crore for Sri Teja, the 9-year boy who was critically injured in the Sandhya theatre stampede on December 4, and his family. Allu Aravind met Dil Raju, the newly appointed chairman of Telugu Film Development Corporation (TFDC) and handed him over the cheques at a press conference earlier today. 

Addressing the media, Allu Aravind clarified that out of the 2 crore figure being provided as financial support to Sri Teja and his family, Rs 1 crore comes from Allu Arjun while Pushpa 2 producers Mythri Movie Makers and director Sukumar are providing Rs 50 lakh each.

On the occasion, TFDC chairman Dil Raju also informed that him alongwith other leading members of Telugu film industry would be meeting Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Thursday. “We have asked for an appointment to meet Revanth Reddy gaaru on Thursday, and planned a meeting with him to ensure smooth and healthy relationship between the two bodies.” Additionally, Dil Raju stated that he visited Sri Teja in the hospital, and confirmed that the boy is recovering well.
