Roshan Kanakala, who made his debut last year with the new-age romantic drama Bubble Gum, will next be seen headlining the action-adventure film Mowgli. The film was officially launched on Thursday with a muhurtham pooja ceremony. Among others, Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Srikanth Odela attended the ceremony.

Mowgli is directed by Sandeep Raj who rose to prominence with his 2020 film Colour Photo. Sakshi Mhadolkar has been signed as the female lead. The film’s title poster was released in September this year. 

Kaala Bhairava is the music director for Mowgli. The cinematography will be handled by Rama Maruti M, who has worked on films like the Baahubali franchise and RRR. Pavan Kalyan Kodati is the editor. While the film stars Harsha Chemudu in a prominent role, more details about the film’s primary cast are yet to be announced. 

Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the banner of People Media Factory, Mowgli is tentatively scheduled for a summer 2025 release. The shoot for the film will commence soon.
