Reports suggest that the makers of the Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule are planning to add 18 minutes of additional footage and a simultaneous 3D release from December 25. Trade experts predict that the added footage might boost the film’s overall collections. The additional footage is also said to be added for the film’s Netflix premiere. An official confirmation is awaited.
Pushpa 2: The Rule, the much-hyped sequel directed by Sukumar, is unstoppable at the box office, becoming the fastest Indian film to mint Rs Rs 1508 crores. Released worldwide on December 5, the gangster film has set a new benchmark for commercial cinema. The film also surpassed Stree 2 at the Hindi box office and made Rs 630.50 crores, making it the highest ever for a Hindi film. According to Sacnilk, the India net collection is Rs 998.05 crores as of Friday after the film’s successful 16-day run.

Featuring Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and a stellar supporting cast, with music by Devi Sri Prasad and stunning visuals by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek, Pushpa 2: The Rule is playing in theatres.
