‘Meenu’ from Sankranthiki Vasthunam is a soothing melody

The crime comedy, also starring Meenaakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh, is hitting screens on January 14, 2025

The makers of Venkatesh Daggubati starrer Sankranthiki Vasthunam unveiled the second single titled ‘Meenu’ from the film. The song is a melodious ode where Venkatesh in his fan-favourite police uniform mouths lyrics about his first love. The soothing melody has vocals by Bheems Ceciroleo and Pranavi Acharya while the lyrics are penned by Anantha Sriram. The film’s album composed by Bheems Ceciroleo has been well received by audiences. The entertainer even marks the return of veteran singer Ramana Gogula. 

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Sankrathiki Vasthunam is billed as a triangular crime comedy. Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Sankrathiki Vasthunam also stars Meenaakshi Chaudhary as Venkatesh's ex-girlfriend, and Aishwarya Rajesh as his wife. Upendra Limaye, and Rajendra Prasad are also part of the cast. Bheems Ceciroleo composed the music, Sameer Reddy cranked the cinematography, and AS Prakash took care of production design.

The team credits S Krishna and G Adhinarayana as co-writers, Tammiraju as editor, and V Venkat as action director. Sankrathiki Vasthunam is gearing up for release on January 14, 2025.
