Srikakulam Sherlockholmes trailer: A gripping whodunnit with a comical Vennela Kishore at the helm

Srikakulam Sherlockholmes, directed by Writer Mohan, is coming to screens on December 25

The makers of Vennela Kishore led Srikakulam Sherlockholmes unveiled the film’s trailer on Monday. The trailer depicts a mysterious murder of a young woman, named Mary, setting off a trail. Based in the rural backdrop of Srikakulam, Vennela Kishore plays a homegrown version of Sherlock Holmes who is summoned to solve the case. With seven suspects all central to the plot, the film promises to be a nail-biting thriller with equal parts comedy. 

The film also has a tagline, “Chantabbai thaalooka (Care of Chantabbai)” as an ode to Chiranjeevi’s iconic detective thriller, Chantabbai

Directed by Writer Mohan, Srikakulam Sherlockholmes also stars Ananya Nagalla and Ravi Teja Mahadasyam in prominent roles, with a supporting cast that includes Siya Gowtam and Muralidhar Goud. Produced by Vennapusa Ramana Reddy under the banner of Sri Ganapathi Cinemas, the film is touted as a hilarious detective thriller. 

On the technical side, Mallikarjun Naragani handled cinematography, while Avinash Gurlinka took care of editing. Srikakulam Sherlockholmes is set for a Christmas release on December 25.
