Actor Anushka Shetty is set to return to the big screen with Ghaati, a raw revenge drama helmed by acclaimed director Krish Jagarlamudi. The film is slated for a pan-Indian release on April 18, 2025, in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.

The announcement came with a striking poster showcasing Anushka in an intense avatar, hinting at her portrayal of a tribal woman on a violent quest for justice. The recently released 45-second teaser further sets the tone, describing the protagonist as “a victim, a criminal, and a legend.”

Penned by Chintakindi Srinivas Rao with dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra, Ghaati attained strong buzz with the posters and glimpse. The film has cinematography by Manojh Reddy Katasani, music by Nagavelli Vidya Sagar, and art direction by Thota Tharani. The film is produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamundi under First Frame Entertainment, with UV Creations presenting the project.

Ghaati marks Anushka’s fourth collaboration with UV Creations and her reunion with Krish after the 2010 anthology Vedam, a landmark in her career. Anushka Shetty was last seen in the romantic comedy, Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, starring Naveen Polishetty.
