The much-awaited follow-up film from director S.S. Rajamouli, dubbed SSMB29 for now, has created a lot of hype. Reports suggest that the film might be launched in January 2025 and the film would go on floors in March 2025. However, official confirmation is awaited from the makers. With Super Star Mahesh Babu in the lead role, this international adventure film seeks to enthral viewers everywhere. SSMB29, penned by Vijayendra Prasad, is purportedly the highest budgeted Indian film ever produced.

The film is billed as a globetrotting adventure. The film’s crew includes the regulars from Rajamouli’s previous films—costume designer Rama Rajamouli and Academy Award winner ‘Naatu Naatu’ composer M.M. Keeravani. For a change, Rajamouli is working with cinematographer P.S. Vinod instead of his regular Senthil Kumar. According to sources, Rajamouli and his crew decided to create a two-part saga to properly tell the story set in the Amazon rainforest. 

SSMB29 is one of the most-awaited and much-hyped pan-Indian projects, with all the prospects to turn into an international venture given the reputation SS Rajamouli earned with RRR (2022).
