Vedhika, who has earlier worked in Razakar, Petta Rap and Yakshini this year, is gearing up for her next release Fear. The makers of the film released their title song on Saturday.

Anup Rubens is the music director for the upcoming psychological thriller. Sung by Megna and Neil Krithan, ‘Fear title song’ is a groovy number, heavy on electronic beats, that captures the haunting and tense atmosphere of the film. Krishna Kanth has penned the lyrics that underscore the protagonist’s turmoil, which are completely in English. Written and directed by Dr Haritha Gogineni, Fear revolves around a young woman (Vedhika) who is struggling to distinguish between reality and imagination. The film also promises to explore themes of supernatural. Besides helming the direction, Haritha is also the writer and editor for her film. 

The film’s supporting cast includes names like JP (Jayaprakash), Pavitra Lokesh, Anish Kuruvilla, Sayaji Shinde, Satya Krishna, and Sahithi Dasari. Additionally, Arvind Krishna will also be seen in a special role.

The makers of Fear had announced the release date for their film on November 26 — The Vedhika-starrer will hit theatres on December 14. Produced by Dr. Vanki Penchalayya and AR Abhi under the banner of Dattatreya Media, Fear is slated for a release in multiple languages.
