2nd National Award on its way: Krish Jagarlamundi praises Allu Arjun's performance in Pushpa 2

The Sukumar directorial opened in theatres today to a massive response at the box office

Filmmaker Krish Jagarlamundi, who is making his upcoming film Ghaati with Anushka Shetty, heaped praises on the Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule, the much-awaited action-drama sequel which released on Thursday. The notable director also predicted another national award for Arjun, who had earlier bagged his first national award for Pushpa: The Rise (2021). 

Taking to his X page, Krish posted, “In Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun doesn’t just show us what a hero is; he redefines what a hero can be. Every flick of his hand, every fiery glare and every dialogue he uttered is nothing short of unparalleled mastery of the craft. The second National Award is surely on its way, Bunny .. Congratulations in advance.”

The filmmaker also congratulated director Sukumar and producers at Mythri Movie Makers for the film. “Hats off to the magician behind it — Sukumar, a maestro who transforms raw stories into cinematic masterpieces. Salutes to both of you and Mythri Movie Makers for setting new benchmarks in cinema.”

Also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in prominent roles, Pushpa 2: The Rule is expected to break many box office records with its opening day figures. As per a report by boxoffice tracker sacnilk.com, the film has grossed over 58 crores on day 1 so far.
