It’s a wrap for Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaaj

The film, also starring Bobby Deol, is slated for a Sankranthi 2025 release

Nandamuri Balakrishna, who was last seen in the 2023 family drama Bhagavanth Kesari, is gearing up for the release of his upcoming project with Bobby Kolli, titled Daaku Maharaaj. On Tuesday, the makers completed the shoot for their film. 

Daaku Maharaaj is produced by Sithara Entertainers in association with Sai Soujanya Entertainment, with Naga Vamsi serving as the producer. The makers announced the shoot wrap with a BTS image of Balakrishna with Bobby Kolli. Bobby, who has previously directed films like Power (2014) and Waltair Veerayya (2023), stated at a recent promotional event that Daaku Maharaaj will be most violent film of Balakrishna’s career.

The title reveal teaser of for Daaku Maharaaj was released on November 15. The film’s supporting cast includes Shraddha Srinath, Pragya Jaiswal, Urvashi Rautela, Chandini Chowdary, and Bobby Deol who plays the antagonist. A few days ago, we had reported that Bobby Deol had finished shooting his scenes for the film. 

The cinematography and editing are helmed by Vijay Karthik Kanna and Niranjan Devaramane respectively. Meanwhile, Thaman S is the music composer for the film.

The Balakrishna starrer is set for a Sankranthi 2025 release, hitting theatres on January 12 and clashing against films like Game Changer, Sankranthiki Vasthunam and Vishwambhara which are also slated to release on the same weekend.
