Drinker Sai gets a release date

The upcoming romantic comedy stars Dharma and Aishwarya Sharma in lead roles

The makers of Drinker Sai set a release date for their film on Tuesday. Starring Dharma and Aishwarya Sharma, the film will hit theatres on December 27.

The official trailer for the film was released on November 15. Written and directed by Kiran Tirumalasetti, Drinker Sai revolves around a jilted lover (Dharma) who takes to alcohol in an uncontrollable manner while continuing to try winning the affections of his beloved muse (played by Aishwarya). The film is based on a true story.

Drinker Sai is bankrolled under the banners of Everest Cinemas and Smart Screens Entertainments, with Basavaraju Srinivas, Ismal Shaik and Basavaraju Laharidhar serving as producers.

The supporting cast of the film includes actors like Posani Krishnamurali, Srikanth Iyengar, Sameer, Badram, SS Kaanchi, Kirak Seetha, Ritu Chowdary, Funbucket Rajesh, and Raja Prajwal. Sri Vasanth has composed music for the film, and Academy Award winner Chandrabose is the lyricist. On the technical front, Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor and Prasanth Ankireddy is the cinematographer.
