Vishnu Manchu unveils Kannappa character posters of his daughters Ariaana-Viviana

The upcoming fantasy drama will also have special appearances from Prabhas and Akshay Kumar

After a long time in the post-production stage, Vishnu Manchu’s upcoming fantasy drama Kannappa is ready for a theatrical release on April 25 next year. The film boasts of a massive ensemble cast, including names like Mohanlal, Kajal Aggarwal, Preity Mukundhan, and Madhoo, among others. On Monday, Vishnu unveiled the character posters of Ariaana and Viviana, his daughters who are also part of the film’s cast.

Taking to his X page, the actor posted, “My heart swells with pride as I share Ariaana & Viviana in Kannappa. I can't wait for everyone to witness the magic my little mommies create on the screen!  Happy Birthday Ari Vivi. I Love you to the moon and back.” 

It is to be noted that Vishnu’s son Avram is also making his acting debut with the film. Additionally, Prabhas and Akshay Kumar have been roped in to make special appearances in the film. 

The film, based on the mythological story of Kannappa, a devotee of Shiva, is bankrolled under the banner of 24 Frames Factory. Vishnu’s father and veteran actor Mohan Babu, who plays a pivotal role in Kannappa, is also the film’s producer. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa has cinematography by Seldon Chau, editing by Anthony Gonsalvez, and music by Stephen Devassy. The stunts and war sequences are choreographed by Kecha Khamphakdee.

The makers of Kannappa are planning to release the film in Telugu, Hindi, English, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
