The makers of upcoming Priyadarshi starrer Sarangapani Jathakam released their new single, ‘Sanchari Sanchari,’ on Monday. Vivek Sagar is the music composer for the film.

Despite its heavy beats, ‘Sanchari Sanchari’ is a composition steeped in a sense of melancholy, reflecting on the transient nature of love and life. Sanjith Hegde is the playback singer, while lyrics are by Ramajaogayya Sastry. Vivek Sagar also incorporates a touch of classical sound on the instrumentation, in his quintessential style. Soujanya Bhagavatula has been credited as the backing vocalist. Vivek Sagar has composed music for films like Darling and Swag earlier this year.

While Roopa Koduvayur plays the female lead, the ensemble cast of Sarangapani Jathakam includes prominent actors like VK Naresh, Tanikella Bharani, Vennela Kishore, and Viva Harsha, among others. Sarangapani Jathakam is written and directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti, who has earlier made films like Ashta Chamma (2008) and Sammohanam (2018). This marks the filmmaker’s first collaboration with Priyadarshi. 

The official teaser of the film was released on November 21. Produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, the upcoming thriller is slated for a theatrical release on December 20.
