Filmmaker Nadiminti Narasingha Rao died on Wednesday. He was 72. He worked as a writer and lyricist for several Telugu films, such as Anaganaga Oka Roju, directed by Ram Gopal Varma, and Gulabi directed by Krishna Vamsi. These films had a massive impact on the audiences and are still highly appreciated mainly for the dialogues. 

Narasinga Rao fell seriously ill and was undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital. He reportedly went into a comatose a week ago due to his deteriorating condition. He is survived by his wife and daughter. His work as a lyricist in films like Paathabasthi, Ooriki Monagadu, and Kuchhikuchchi Koonamma will be fondly remembered. 

Before entering films, he gained fame with the play Bommalata. He has penned the dialogues for TV serials like Wonder boy, Lady Detective, Antarangalu which were successful. Many figures from the industry are writing condolences for his death.
