Ajay Arasada, who received a lot of acclaim for his work in the recently-released comedy Aay, spoke about his ambitions as a music director, his admiration for Devi Sri Prasad, and more in a recent media interaction.

Talking about his future projects, Ajay stated, “At this stage of my career, I see many opportunities in the Telugu industry. Aay has given me a good name, and my goal is to excel in the commercial film genre. I constantly think about how to make trendy music for commercial films. I believe that if you hum my background music, it's a hit.”

The composer also spoke of the positive response his background score for Aay received. He recalled, “Producer Bunny Vasu told me how the film's background music shaped the way everyone experienced the movie. He specifically mentioned that the background music in the climax was a big highlight.”

When asked about how he ensures his music stands out, Ajay stated, “I am a fan of Devi Sri Prasad, and follow his belief that if the tune complements the lyrics, the song will be remembered for a long time. I give great importance to melody.”

Ajay’s upcoming projects include a web series called Vikata Kavi and a love story film titled Rajahmundry Rose Milk.
