Shilpa Manjunath, who last appeared in the Tamil sports-drama film Singappeney, will be seen playing a cop in her upcoming movie Hide N Seek. The makers of the film released a character poster for the actress on Thursday.

Shilpa plays a police officer named Vaishnavi in the upcoming thriller. Along with the character poster, the makers added a caption, “War against the police always ends with the criminal's blood.” Yesterday, the makers had unveiled a character poster for the film’s male lead Viswant who plays Shiva. Hide N Seek is presented by Naveen Medaram, who produced the popular slice-of-life web series 90s - A Middle-Class Biopic. Narendra Buchireddygari is producing the film under the banner of Sahasra Entertainments.

The ensemble cast of the thriller includes Viswant, Shilpa Manjunath, Rhea Suchdeva, Sridhar Reddy, Sumanth, Tejaswi, Kasvi, Sakshi Siva, Raghavendra, Sainath Garimella, Ravi Raj, and Rohit Addanki. On the technical front, the cinematography for the film is helmed by Chinna Ram and editing by Amar Reddy Kudumula. Lijo K Jose is the music director. 

Written and directed by debutant Basireddy Rana, Hide N Seek is slated for a theatrical release on September 13.
