Chiranjeevi turns 69: Birthday wishes pour in from Allu Arjun, Venkatesh Daggubati, Jr NTR, Mahesh Babu and more

As Chiranjeevi celebrates his 69th, many industry figures pay tribute to his legacy and give heartfelt wishes

Actor-politician Chiranjeevi turned 69 today. Many celebrities, noted figures, and fans of Chiranjeevi celebrated his illustrious career and achievements. Known for his significant impact on the Indian film industry, Chiranjeevi was awarded Padma Bhushan in 2006 and Padma Vibhushan in 2024. 

Chiranjeevi made his acting debut in 1979 with Punadhirallu and rose to stardom with Khaidi (1983). Many celebrities took to X (formerly Twitter) to celebrate the actor’s birthday. 

Pushpa-actor Allu Arjun, niece of Chiranjeevi, wished, saying, “Many happy returns of the day to our megastar Chiranjeevi garu.”

Venkatesh Daggubati, a long-time friend and colleague of Chiranjeevi, wished him with a picture of the duo and wrote, “Happy Birthday, my friend! Wishing you peace, health and happiness always”

RRR-famed Jr NTR also wished the actor and wrote, “A very happy birthday Chiranjeevi Garu.. Wishing you a year filled with joy, success and good health.”

Mahesh Babu, who is currently busy working with SS Rajamouli, also wrote, “Happy birthday Chiranjeevi garu! Wishing you peace, great health, and continued success.” 

Sudheer Babu, talking about his legacy of inspiring many, said, “From Punaadirallu to Waltair Veerayya, your iconic roles have inspired many generations! Wishing a very Happy Birthday to the legendary Chiranjeevi garu. May your year ahead be blessed with good health and success!”

Chiranjeevi will return to the silver screen with Viswambhara, directed by Vassishta of Bimbisara fame, on January 10, 2025.
