Actors Sivaji and Laya are set to share the screen for an upcoming film after 14 years. The former is producing the film along with ETV Win under the banner of Sree Sivaji Productions. It is to be noted that the actors were previously seen together in a slew of films including Missamma (2003), Tata Birla Madhyalo Laila (2006), and Adirindayya Chandram (2005). Those films brought immense recognition for the pair, making them an audience favourite. 

The upcoming film, which is touted to be a crime-comedy-thriller, will be directed by newcomer Sudhir Sriram. The film’s launch event happened recently, with some noted industry figures in attendance. Prominent producer Dil Raju gave the inaugural clap for the film. And director Boyapati Srinu, of Akhanda fame, is said to be overseeing the project. 

Actor Sivaji, who received appreciation for his recent web series with ETV Win, #90's - A Middleclass Biopic, is hoping to continue the streak with the streaming platform. The film is also set to feature Rohan Roy who collaborated with Sivaji on the hit web series. The regular production for the film is set to start on August 20 and the remaining details are yet to be disclosed by the production house.
