Vishwak Sen, who recently wrapped up the Ravi Teja Mullapudi directorial, Mechanic Rocky, announced his next with debutant Sreedhar Ghanta on August 6. The film, produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas, was launched with a pooja ceremony by producers Naga Vamsi and Sahu Garapati on Thursday. The film, which is billed as an intense political action drama, has the tagline, “Every action fires a reaction.” The regular shoot for the film is said to commence in September. 

The untitled film has Thangalaan-famed Kishor Kumar helming the camera, with Kantara-famed Ajaneesh Loknath taking over the music department. Vishwak Sen is reported to play a sincere police officer who fights injustice set against a village backdrop. The film also stars Kannada actor Sampada. 

Vishwak Sen had huge releases this year with Gaami and Gangs of Godavari, and he is currently anticipating the release of Mechanic Rocky which also features Meenakshii Chaudhary and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles.
