Tejus Kancharla, who rose to popularity with his work in Hushaaru, is making a comeback with the film Uruku Patela. The film is slated for a theatrical release on September 13. On Monday, the makers released their first single ‘Patnam Pilla’.

Composed by Praveen Lakkaraju, ‘Patnam Pilla’ is a robust and catchy love song. Popular playback singer Rahul Sipligunj has lent his vocals for the number, while the lyrics are penned by Kasarla Shyam. Khushboo Choudhary, who plays the female lead in the film, also makes an appearance in the song video. Jithu Master is the choreographer for the song video. 

Uruku Patela is directed by Vivek Reddy, who is also co-producing the film with Kancharla Bala Bhanu under the banner of Lead Edge Pictures. Sasank Vupputuri is the editor of the film, while cinematography is helmed by Sunny Kurrapati. The film’s official teaser was released two weeks ago. 

The makers of Uruka Patela have completed their shooting and are now in the midst of their post-production process.
