The makers of 35 - Chinna Katha Kadhu, the upcoming slice-of-life drama presented by Rana Daggubati, have announced that the film is postponed to September 5, Teachers' Day. Initially, the makers had planned for an August 15 release, but as various films had locked the date, it has been postponed. The makers announced the news with a hilarious poster that says, “This August 15 is filled with mass masala examinations. So, our 35, a family drama exam has shifted to another good date by our teacher”

35 is a story based in Tirupati where a middle-class couple, essayed by Vishwadev Rachakonda and Nivetha Thomas, deal with their elder son, Arun, finding it difficult to score the pass mark of 35 in mathematics. The strict teacher played by Priyadarshi makes the task more challenging for Arun.

35 marks the directorial debut of Nanda Kishore Emani, who had previously worked as a writer on Pitta Kathalu (2021) and Stand Up Rahul (2022). The music for the film is composed by Vivek Sagar. The makers released the first song on July 31 titled ‘Sayyare Sayya’ sung by Karthik.
