Double iSmart, the upcoming sci-fi action entertainer starring Ram Pothineni, is coming to the theatres on August 15. It was reported that the film’s Nizam distribution rights faced issues with buyers and was put on hold. The makers have officially announced that the film is being grandly released by Primeshow Films, which had acquired its worldwide theatrical rights to release in major Indian languages. 

Double iSmart features Kavya Thapar as Jannat, and Sanjay Dutt as Big Bull. The film’s extended cast also includes Ali, Sayaji Shinde, Makrand Deshpande, Getup Srinu, and Gurbani. Gianni Gianneli and Shyam K Naidu handle the cinematography, while Karthika Srinivas R is the editor. Music for the film is composed by Mani Sharma, making it his sixth collaboration with director Puri Jagannadh. 

Produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur under the banner of Puri Connects, the film’s censor formalities were cleared with an “A” rating on August 6. Double iSmart is clashing with Ravi Teja’s Mr Bachchan and Narne Nithiin’s rural entertainer AAY on August 15.
