The makers of Uruku Patela, directed by Vivek Reddy, have launched their first single titled ‘Patnam Pilla’ at Mayabazaar, a restaurant in Hyderabad. The song has energetic vocals by 'Naatu Naatu' famed Rahul Sipligunj and folk Telangana lyrics by Kasarla Shyam. The makers released a promo for the song on August 10 with an energetic dance by Tejus Kancherla. 

Uruku Patela stars Tejus Kancherla and Khushboo Choudary in the lead roles. The makers of the film unveiled a teaser on July 31. The teaser has a last shot of Akshara, played by Khusboo Choudary, with a frightening look that scares the main character, played by Tejus Kancherla. 

Uruku Patela is produced by Kancherla Bala Bhanu under the banner of Lead Edge Pictures. The film has Sunny Kurapati as the cinematographer, Sasank Vupputuri as the editor, Vivek Annamalai as the art designer, and Jithu Master as the dance choreographer. The makers have yet to announce a release date for the film.
