The makers of Double iSmart, which is slated to release next week, have completed their censorship formalities. The action film, starring Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt in prominent roles, has received an A certificate.

The film, directed by eminent filmmaker Puri Jagannadh, also stars Kavya Thapar as the female lead. A few days ago, the makers of Double iSmart launched their third single, 'Big Bull,' which featured the three leading actors in the music video. Mani Shankar, who is the music director, makes his sixth collaboration with Puri Jagannadh. Puri Jagannadh is also producing the film in association with Charmme Kaur, under the banner Puri Connects.

In the last couple of months, makers of many action films have decided to go for an 'A' certificate, which limits their audience. Sudheer Babu's Harom Hara had one. More recently, Dhanush's directorial debut, Raayan, too, received an 'A' certificate.

The Ram Pothineni starrer is slated for a theatrical release on August 15, clashing against Mr Bachchan, another action entertainer that stars Ravi Teja in the lead.
