Double iSmart, the upcoming project of Puri Jagannadh and Ram Pothineni, is set to hit theatres on August 15th. On Thursday, the makers announced that the theatrical trailer for the film will be released on August 4th.

To be released by Primeshow Entertainment in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam, the film marks director Puri Jagannadh and Ram Pothineni’s second collaboration after the 2019 film iSmart Shankar. Being promoted as a sci-fi action entertainer, the teaser clocked in more than 20 million views combined in all languages.

Co-produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the banner of Puri Connects, the film stars Ram Pothineni, Kavya Thapar, and Sanjay Dutt among others. With the album scored by Mani Sharma, there are high expectations for the trailer. The cinematography is by the duo of Shyam K Naidu and Gianni Giannelli. 

This film is touted as the return of Puri Jagannadh and Ram Pothineni after their respective previous films, Liger and Skanda, did not work at the box office. The film will clash with the Harish Shankar directorial Mr. Bachchan and the comedy drama 35.
