Satyadev, who last appeared in the 2022 film Gurthunda Seethakalam, is gearing up for his next release, Krishnamma. The makers updated on Wednesday that their film’s theatrical trailer will be unveiled on Friday, April 26. 

Krishnamma is a crime drama set in the late 2000s against the background of rural Andhra Pradesh. Koratala Siva is presenting the film, while Krishna Kommalapati is bankrolling the project under the banner of Arunachala Creations. Kaala Bhairava is the music director for the film, and Ananth Sriram has penned the lyrics. The cinematography and editing are by Sunny Kurapati and Tammiraju, respectively.

The film has been a long time in the making. The film’s official teaser was released in August 2022. However, the delays in the post-production process reportedly postponed the film's release plans. 

Written and Directed by V V Gopala Krishna, Krishnamma will hit the theatres on May 3.
