The makers of Pratinidhi 2 released their official trailer on Friday. Directed by Murthy Devagupthapu, the film marks the on-screen comeback for Nara Rohith, who was last seen in the 2018 film Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu.

Pratinidhi 2 promises to tell the story of a commonplace journalist (Rohith) who becomes a household name overnight after one of his interviews with a leading politician goes viral. The journalist then decides to stand up against the underbelly of a political nexus, despite all barriers. The trailer ends with the protagonist directly addressing the viewers, asking them to choose their leaders wisely.

Actors like Jisshu Sengupta, Siri Lella, Sachin Khedekar, Tanikella Bharani, and Dinesh Tej, among others, comprise the supporting cast. Nani Chamidisetty is the cinematographer, and Raviteja Girijala is the editor. Mahati Swara Sagar is the music director for the film.

Jointly produced by Kumar Raza Bathula, Anjaneyulu Sri Thota, and Surendra Nath Bollineni, Pratinidhi 2 is slated to hit theatres on April 25.
