The makers of Nara Rohith-starrer Pratinidhi 2 have finally set a release date for their film. The upcoming political drama will hit the theatres on April 25.

Earlier, the makers had released their film’s teaser on March 29. Pratinidhi 2 promises to be a political drama, telling the story of a commonplace journalist (Rohith) who stands up against the underbelly of political nexus. Nara Rohith was last seen in the 2018 film Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu.

Actors like Jisshu Sengupta, Siri Lella, Sachin Khedekar, Tanikella Bharani and Dinesh Tej among others comprise the supporting cast. Nani Chamidisetty is the cinematographer, and Raviteja Girijala is the editor.

Pratinidhi 2, jointly produced by Kumar Raza Bathula, Anjaneyulu Sri Thota and Surendra Nath Bollineni, is a spiritual sequel to the 2014 film Pratinidhi, which was directed by Prashanth Mandava and which too starred Rohith as the protagonist. Pratinidhi 2, meanwhile, is directed by Murthy Devagupthapu.
