Jagapathi Babu joins the cast of Ravi Teja’s Mr Bachchan

Mr Bachchan marks Ravi Teja's third collaboration with director Harish Shankar after Shock (2006) and Mirpakay (2011)

The makers of Ravi Teja’s upcoming film, Mr Bachchan shared a new update about their film. Jagapathi Babu is officially a part of the film’s cast. 

Mr Bachchan, directed by Harish Shankar, is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the banner People Media Factory. Taking to their social media page on Sunday evening, the production banner posted, “Welcoming the ever versatile Jagapathi Babu on board for Mr Bachchan in a powerful role. Get ready for an epic clash on the big screens.” The production banner also updated that the film has been on the shooting floors for 50 days now and that 80 percent of the talkie portions are completed. 

Mr Bachchan marks Ravi Teja's third collaboration with director Harish Shankar after Shock (2006) and Mirpakay (2011). Bhagyashri Borse will be playing the female lead in the film, making her acting debut.

Jagapathi Babu was recently seen in Vijay Deverakonda starrer Family Star, which released on April 5. Meanwhile, Ravi Teja was last seen in the action-drama Eagle, directed by Karthik Gattamneni, which was released on February 9.
