Sriranga Neethulu receives a U/A certificate

The slice-of-life film stars Suhas, Ruhani Sharma and Viraj Ashwin in prominent roles

Ahead of their film’s release, the makers of Sriranga Neethulu completed their censorship formalities on Thursday. The slice-of-life drama, starring Suhas, Ruhani Sharma, Kartik Rathnam, and Viraj Ashwin in prominent roles, has received a U/A certificate from the censor board.

The official trailer of Sriranga Neethulu was released on March 29. Reportedly, the film is a hyperlink narrative drama that charts three separate stories of its protagonists simultaneously, before tying them together in the end. While Viraj and Ruhani play a couple struggling to convince their families of their union, Suhas plays a lower middle-class family member desperate to earn respect in his neighbourhood. Kartik, meanwhile, plays a young man dealing with substance abuse addiction  who unwittingly becomes a suspect in a criminal case. The supporting cast of Sriranga Neethulu includes actors like Srinivas Avasarala, Devi Prasad, Sanjay Swaroop, Tanikella Bharani, Geetha Bhascker, CVL Narasimha Rao and Jeevan Reddy.

The film is produced by Venkateshwara Rao Balmuri under the banner Radhavi Entertainments. Ajay Arasada and Animal-fame composer Harshvardhan Rameshwar have composed the film's music, with cinematography and editing by Tijo Tomy and Sasank Vupputuri, respectively. 

Directed by Praveen Kumar VSS, Sriranga Neethulu is scheduled to release on April 11, where it clashes at the box office with the horror comedy Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi
