Bharathanatyam completes censorship formalities

The film marks the debut for actor-writer Surya Tej Aelay

Ahead of their film’s release, the makers of Bharathanatyam shared an official update about completion of censorship formalities. Bharathanatyam, which is a crime-comedy, has received a U/A certificate from the censor board. 

Bharathanatyam revolves around an ambitious filmmaker (Surya) who, in his desperate attempt to make a film, gets embroiled in the underbelly nexus of crime, politics, and moviemaking. The film marks the acting debut for Surya Tej Aelay, who has also penned the story for the film, additionally co-writing the screenplay and dialogues with director KVR Mahendra. 

Minakshi Goswami is the female lead opposite Surya Tej. The film also stars Harsha Chemudu. The supporting cast of Bharathanatyam includes Ajay Gosh, Temper Vamshi, Gangavva, Sivannarayana, Santhosh Balakrishna, Krishna Alluri, Naga Mahesh, and Manik Reddy. Vivek Sagar has composed the music for the film.

Produced by Payal Saraf, Bharathanatyam is slated for a theatrical release on April 5, clashing against Vijay Deverakonda-Mrunal Thakur starrer Family Star.
